A workshop that beckons you into your greatness
We spend our lives being very busy – working, replying to emails, attending meetings, shopping, cooking, shuttling our kids around, completing taxes, staying abreast of our field, and doing the tasks required day to day, all the while complaining how there is not enough time. We battle with exhaustion, overwhelm, stress, competing priorities, self-doubt and shame, as we create a vicious circle in the busyness and whirlwind of life. Amongst all that, how much time is spent on what really, truly matters?
And, now that you mention it, what does truly matter? How do you even know?
How much time, energy and exploration have you dedicated to determining what matters to you and what you want? And, how do you even know what you want? I’m sure you have heard the old adage about spending so much time and energy climbing up the ladder of success, only to find that the ladder was leaning against the wrong building. How do you know if you are moving in a valued direction of your choosing, or if you are succumbing to perceived expectations?
Or, do you sometimes know what you want (with absolute clarity), and no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to achieve it? This thing that you want seems to be elusive to you, or just beyond your reach. Why is that? How is it that other people can have this elusive thing, but, not you?
Are you aware of your strategies – both those that work for you (but at what cost) and those that actually get in the way of realising what you want to create in your life? Is it possible that you might be getting in your own way? Might you be sabotaging yourself? But, why would you do such a thing?
Let’s face it. We are complex multifaceted beings living complex lives in complex and changing times. And, we never got the blue print for how to “do life.” In school, we may have learned essential skills, such as the Pythagorean theorem, or how to dissect a frog. But, for most of us, our schooling skipped right over how to live life, and relate to others and be in this world with joy, purpose and meaning. So, we grabbed onto whatever role models we could find, such as our parents, teachers, movies, television (all of whom may not have been the best) and have muddled our way through.
THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE IS YOU!
How much time do you spend on your Self? Sure, you might manage to schedule time to get to the gym, or get your hair cut. But, what about the more significant aspects of you? How much time and energy do you spend on that? If you are like most people, you relegate all of the most important and significant things about you and life to the back seat, while you focus on the day-to-day.
Amidst the noise of our busy lives, it is imperative that we take necessary time outs to explore who we really are, what we truly want , what matters most to us, who we choose to be, and how we want to live our lives.
You are invited to take such a time out in a 3 day experiential and fun filled workshop, where you will take a journey to discover how to live the best life you can live and how to be your greatest Self, as we delve into the principles of Self Mastery.
The principles we will explore, practice, discuss and play with are:
I create my own reality (out of endless possibilities) by what I think, perceive, do and fail to do
I am bigger than my thoughts and feelings
I am free to choose and my choice level increases through the development of my awareness
I am accountable for the experience I have in life
I am willing to go outside my comfort zone, where I ask the hard questions, take risks, stand in the tension, lean into the discomfort, act with urgency, share my Self, tell the truth, stay true to my Self, own my shame and refuse to be judged
I trust and rely on universal laws and wisdom as I am a conscious being, interdependent with the universe
I harness my creative powers and generate myself as a possibility through my mind and deeds, by imagining, accessing my inspiration, building beliefs and shifting my perspective
I am focused, productive and efficient (when I choose to be) as I plan, practice, form habits, am disciplined and congruent
I accept, love and trust my Self as I create space for and engage with Self in the moment, recognising that I am a unique and extraordinary being
I am grateful for and generous with all that I have and all that I am
